I glance over to Siya who was trying to close her tiffin without making noise. Actually, by the time we reached the class , the lunch was already over . So we decided to eat in class . Hehe mastikhor log vibes 😁.
I focused on the class back in time as he called out a name:
"Krish!"
"Y-yes sir?" The kid replied . Making my head snap back at the familiar voice .' Ye to vhi suar ka pilla hai'

The history sir spoke again :" name the two rivers near Babylonia?"
He pretended to think and confidently said :" sir! Ganga Jamuna!" The whole class erupted in roars of laughter .
"Shh! Shhh! Silence! And krish what is this nonsense ?" 😡
Just then I raised my hand to answer . " Yes dhravya!"
" sir euphrates and Tigris!"
"Yes!! Very good dhravya! Learn something from her krish! She is brilliant! "
I shot a smug look at krish , as sir asked us to sit down, he immediately retorted with an annoyed Glare .

I press the doorbell twice and then back away a little , waiting for jiya to open the door . She had invited me over after we become....idk fast friends?
Before I could ring it again , the door opened , and a lady in her mid 30's , with a wide smile , simmilar to jiya's , greeted me .
"Hello beta! Tum jiya ki dost ho na? Usne mujhe bataya tha tumhare bare Mai. Aao Bandar aao!
(Hello dear! You are jiya's friend right? She told me about you. Come inside, come!)
I greeted her "namaste aunty ji!" . The energy that surrounded her was contagious. Now I know where jiya got her genetics from! 😁
